about

"Green Meadows" was written for the Green Meadows Petting Farm in Waterford, Wisconsin, a place that has shown incredible support. Bo liked it, so it ended up on the album.

lyrics

Way out west the grass is brown,
and I live too close to downtown.
When I'm homesick my mind goes,
drifting back to green meadows.

Going back to green meadows...

The kids they like to run and chase,
the chickens on those summer days.
Picking pumpkins in the fall,
early morning rooster's call.

Calling green meadows, going back to green meadows...

Well winter time's end is near,
won't you come with me my dear.
Back to where that tall grass grows,
going back to green meadows.

Going back to green meadows...
